There Is No Antimemetics Division has one of the best premises I've come across in a long time: What if there were things and beings that simply can’t be remembered? How would humanity respond to a threat you forget faster than you can even recognize it?
That’s what Sam Hughes, aka qntm, explores in this novel. It’s slightly confusing, as it doesn’t follow a strict timeline, jumps between several characters, and overall isn’t an especially easy read. But the premise is strong enough to keep me powering through.
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough conclusion or information for me to rate it higher than 3/5. It left me wanting more, but not in a good way.
