This book can be life changing for many people. It's a very good book for all of those who still need to get permission to view their parents through a new lens of self-respect and being allowed to set boundaries.
I've read this to get a better feeling for how far along on my journey to distance myself from my... rocky... past I am. Turns out: I didn't learn anything new and feel very good about my progress.
This rendered this book a bit boring to me, unfortunately.
