A cute little day. We spent quite a while in the perfume section of a large shopping center, trying dozens of fragrances. It was fun, and it sent Anna spiraling down a deep rabbit hole of fragrance research. I love those moments when you suddenly unlock a new interest and get to learn an entirely new set of things. I also learned that I’m apparently a big fan of pine in my fragrances. Who would have guessed I’d enjoy smelling like a tree!
It took me a couple of tries, but I got there in the end. It might feel like a small thing to those of you in the upper echelons of society who’ve always had a printer, but for me it’s kind of a big deal. I can just click a couple of buttons and suddenly something new exists in the world? Amazing.
Life is more rewarding when you’re invested in things.
I’ve never understood people who pride themselves on how much heat they can stomach. Good job, dude, you’re hurting yourself on purpose. Very impressive.
I’m trying, once again, to become a bike person. It’s easier to get to Anna’s new apartment by bike than by subway or bus.
